The DC Office of Cable Television, Film, Music and Entertainment’s programming department provides video and audio content for our three television channels: District of Columbia Network (DCN), DC Council Channel (DCC) and the District Knowledge Network (DKN). Our channels broadcast live council and board of education proceedings, live mayoral events and announcements, public service announcements, emergency updates and an array of community events. We are committed to the mission of government transparency which we support by keeping residents up-to-date on government initiatives, programs and services. In addition, our television series highlight the vibrancy of DC's culture. Every day, our programming showcases local musicians, restaurants, films, sports and events. Produced by a stellar award-winning team of videographers, editors, producers and AV production specialists, our diverse content offerings keep DC well-informed and entertained—24 hours per day, seven days a week—via channels provided by three cable providers: Comcast, RCN and Verizon.
