Washington, D.C. — The Office of Cable Television, Film, Music, and Entertainment (OCTFME) is proud to recognize metrobar as the February 2025 Location of the Month. This award-winning venue—named “2024 Best Bar” by Washington City Paper and a finalist for “Best Bar” at the 2023 RAMMY Awards—is a visually compelling, versatile indoor/outdoor location, perfect for film, television, media production, and still photography.
Spanning 11,000 square feet, metrobar features a spacious open layout centered around a uniquely redesigned Metro railcar, offering a vibrant and authentic D.C. aesthetic. Since opening in 2021, metrobar has fostered community engagement through arts-driven experiences, with striking murals and life-sized art installations providing a dynamic backdrop for filmmakers.
