OCTFME RECOGNIZES WHITFIELD ENTERTAINMENT GROUP STUDIOS AS THE AUGUST 2022 LOCATION OF THE MONTH

The WEG Studios soundstage campus, centrally located in the heart of the Nation’s Capital, offers a dynamic, versatile, state-of-the-art space for film, television, animation, special events, and music performances.

Washington, DC – The Office of Cable Television, Film, Music, and Entertainment (OCTFME) recognizes Whitfield Entertainment Group Studios as the August 2022 Location of the Month.

Whitfield Entertainment Group Studios (“WEG Studios”) is located at the site of the former BET Networks production campus in the Brentwood neighborhood of Northeast Washington, DC. Comprising over 92,000 square feet across two main buildings, WEG Studios' 57,000 square foot, dual-level main facility features a cavernous 17,000 square foot acoustically treated sound stage and is the perfect rental setting for media productions, special events, concerts, or corporate gatherings.

Adjacent to the main studio soundstage building, the entertainment and production campus also includes a two-level, 35,000 square foot facility that includes production/concert/special event space, offices, and photography studios. The studio campus also features ample parking availability for production support vehicles, crew, and special event audiences and attendees.
