On September 21, the DC Office of Motion Picture and Television Development (DC Film Office) will move to a new location in the Capital Riverfront neighborhood of Southeast Washington. The new building, 200 I Street Gallery, is located in the new Canal Park development just blocks away from the Nationals Stadium.
The Gallery at 200 I Street is the first and only District-owned interior space created solely for the exhibition of fine art. Located within the former Washington Star printing plant, this civic space is part of the renovated industrial facility that will house the new headquarters for several District agencies including the DC Commission on Arts and Humanities, the Office of the Chief Technology Officer (OCTO), and the DC Child and Family Services Agency.
All telephone numbers for the DC Film Office will remain the same. The new mailing address will be: DC Office of Motion Picture and Television Development, 200 I Street, SE, Washington, DC, 20003. The building is about three blocks from the Navy Yard-Ballpark Metro station on the Green line.
