The popular Bourne franchise makes its way to the District today, shooting scenes for the fourth installment currently titled Marcher. Today’s filming will take place in various locations in Northwest and Northeast DC, including downtown.
The Universal Pictures production based on the Robert Ludlum novels will feature Jeremy Renner (Hurt Locker) as the lead character. Renner’s character is an assassin trained in the same program as Jason Bourne, who will not be featured in this film. The film is set to be released in 2012.
