The Cape Verdean American Film Festival announces its 1st Annual Film Festival set to run May 23rd-24th, 2014. This year’s festival will be hosted by Emmy Nominated Actor Tim Reid and scheduled to appear as Honorees are Actor Michael Beach (“Soul Food”, “Waiting to Exhale”, “Lean on Me”), The Legendary Cape Verdean singing duo The Mendes Brothers, The Honorable Gracia Hillman, Actor Kelly Perine (“One on One”) and Activist Nuala Cabral.
