Under the administrative structure and supervision of the Office of the Attorney General, the purpose of the Office of Legal and Regulatory Affairs is to provide quality legal advice to the District of Columbia Office of Cable Television, Film, Music & Entertainment and Television in support of its mission to provide a comprehensive system of services and supports to District citizens. The Office of Legal and Regulatory Affairs (OCTFME) is primarily responsible for planning legal strategies, protecting the interests of the department and advising agency staff on matters having legal implication.
