The Office of Cable Television, Film, Music & Entertainment is the regulatory agency that protects and advances the cable service-related interests of the District. Our Legal and Regulatory team continues to work closely with the District’s three cable and internet service providers to ensure the prompt resolution of customer service, billing, and infrastructure/ wire related issues. If you are experiencing problems with your cable service or need assistance with infrastructure/ wire issues, please contact OCTFME (202) 671-0066 (M-F; 9am-5pm) or you may file a complaint online (in English or Spanish) and we will gladly provide further assistance.

You can report infrastructure issues such as down, low-hanging, or inactive wires by dialing 311 or online ( https://311.dc.gov/citizen/s).
